WoW iPhone Apps!
By GrimYeah I’m a damn iPhone freak! I could talk all day about how this thing has really changed my life, letting me stay connected to everything all the time, but luckily for you I won’t, I’ll just blab about WoW… on the iPhone!
I think the first thing I did after picking up my new shinny toy was search the app store for WoW related apps. A few came up, but I’ll only talk about the ones I actually downloaded. I only bothered to download the free apps to, since I’m cheap. It will be very interesting to see Blizzard launch some dedicated apps for the iphone, but for now the small amount of unofficial apps will have to do.
So yeah lets talk about them, after the break…
This little gem lets you stay connected to all your characters on the move! You enter the details for your characters into the app (you can add any character), it will then find their armory profiles and make them all iPhone friendly. Its awesome this thing is, I also use it to keep tabs on my friends characters
Talent calculator app does exactly what it says on the tin. It provides all the info on each talent within all the trees for every class, along with hunter pets. Really good this one especially for those long trips home on public transport, nothing like whipping the old iPhone out to cook up some crazy build!
This app lets you search for item drops. Its limited to Raid, Dungeon, Badges, PvP – Alliance and PvP Horde. So don’t expect to go looking up random mob loot tables. Still this app has its uses. Its always nice to quickly look up specific loot drops on the fly (I know in game mods do this, but hell this is on the iphone, so you gotta love it) The app takes its data from the
armory and makes it all iPhone friendly, just like Warcraft Characters does.
These are the only apps really worth getting at the moment. I would imagine without a shadow of a doubt that more apps will start showing up as the app store develops. If you know of any apps worthy enough to grace my iPhone, then let me know!
Until next time

Wow, that is some really good apps (kinda a pity that I don’t own an iPhone) but the idea itself is really good. I know for one that there is nothing more fustrating than sitting at work (bored ofc) and then not knowing what drops you could gain from the Hc that you and your mates have just organised.
