QuestHelper

QuestHelper, helps you quest believe it or not! I had never used this mod until a few days ago when I randomly decided to start a Dwarf Hunter. I have this thing for Dwarfs being the only Alliance race I can just about tolerate. Plus deep down I’ve always wanted a Hunter. The main reason for me not having used QuestHelper before is the duel monitor set-up I run. I tend to play the game on one and have Thottbot loaded on the other ready to look up quest details and stuff. Lets not clog up the front page, join meh after the break!
The Author of QuestHelper states:
QuestHelper tells you how to finish your quests in the easiest, fastest manner. It includes a database of quests, monsters, and items, telling you the exact location of that dang Perfect Satyr Horn you can’t find. It also computes the fastest path to complete all your quests – and gain experience – as quickly as possible.
This is my experience with the mod, now remember this is only low level areas that have been out for years, I believe there is a problem with some of the higher level Wrath zones, but these issues will no doubt get fixed. It was the first time I had ran the Dwarf starting zone, so I was lost – sort of. Anyway QuestHelper shows on your map the location of the quest, it also has a handy little arrow which points in the right direction. It leads you to the areas where quest objectives need to be completed but even better than that, it calculates the fastest way to complete all your active quests! All sounds to good to be true? Well its not, this mod is quite simply awesome.
Next time I come to level my main or even any of my alts I will use QuestHelper without any shadow of a doubt. For to long I’ve used Thottbot and had to use my own head to work out the best order to complete quests. If there was a league table of overall ‘best’ UI addons and mods then QuestHelper would be a contender for the number 1 spot. Well maybe number 2 as it does become some what obsolete when you no longer need to level!
Get over to Curse and download the damn thing,

I’ve used this mod and it’s cool in how it works but it is flawed in a way. For example, sometimes it might actually be quicker to complete a quest and then hand it in and get the follow up, rather than completing every single quest you have and then going back. I don’t know if that’s changed now but I found that occured a few times when I used it.
Quickest way to level is to used Jame’s Levelling guides at http://www.wow-pro.com. They’re superb.

By the way I’ve no idea how this apparent latest blog post got in there, I didn’t even write that. And I didn’t know I had my guild website anywhere on here? O.o
