Ring of Fire
Posted by: | Comments
Hey readers, hope you had a nice christmas. I’ve just got back from a friends house where we played a drinking game called ‘Ring of Fire’. A very funny but tedious game where rules are made up as you go along. The name of the game is apt somewhat to the topic of this post. Recently I came across two rings in game that are great for warlocks. In my previous guide on gearing yourself up through heroics and rep rewards, I stated that there aren’t any particularly great rings for warlocks and that you may have to make do with the rings from UK and CoT heroics. They both had haste on them which I’m not a fan of (unless it comes in huge amounts, which is why you’d need several bits of gear perhaps put aside for it) but I used them for want of something better. However, the bad news is it can come with a bit of a price tag.
Naxx: Easymode
Posted by: | CommentsKarazhan was once a towering spire of challenges, a raid that we took seriously, and most of all, a symbol that you were above the foolish and weak masses – you were a raider. Now, that was a long time ago, and it wasn’t even true at the end of The Burning Crusade. But Karazhan used to mean something, back before the new level cap at 80, before reputation for heroics was lowered, before gear was easy to get, before PvP gear was adequate for PvE.

Naxx just doesn’t seem to have the same feeling, even though it’s currently the only real raid. And maybe it isn’t a real raid – Ensidia has cleared it already, pick up groups can finish it on normal or even heroic, and a lot of people treat it like a joke. I personally cleared it only two weeks after release on normal mode (my guild is too small for heroic raids, but we’re working on it.)
So why is Naxx so lax?
