World of Warcraft was the Most Played Game of 2008 in US
ByHardly a shock, but its official, WoW topped the most played game charts according to Nielsen. In fact WoW is so massive it beats the combined play times for all the other 9 games in the top ten list combined! (that’s what Nielsen says, although it can be some what confusing looking at the chart).
I can’t say I’m shocked, and I fully expect WoW to be the top played game in Europe and beyond.
